[Name:] Sydney Ramiel
[Age:] 12
[Bloodline:] Half-muggle, half-magical
[House:] Garces
[Character Personality:]
Sydney Jessica Ramiel, the weirdest person you've ever met. Sydney is a sweet, fun-loving person who loves to cook up schemes to get into trouble, but never actually does them. She is smart, but pretends to be dumb so people don't overestimate her. She absolutely hates people who pick on 'mudbloods' as some would call them. She loves to help those who are in trouble or in danger. Sydney doesn't exactly like any classes and is always falling asleep in class, having her quill take the notes for her. She is cute and has trouble talking to people. She has high hopes for becoming an Auror.
[History:]
Sydney was born in Sydney, Australia during her parents’ vacation: hence her name. She was then flown home with her parents back to Birmingham, England. Her mother, a muggle had not known about her father’s magical background until Syd was four years old. Her mother was scared and left them because she did not know that he was only protecting her from her own family that was hell-bent on killing her. Her mother was soon found dead in a gutter a few years later.
Sydney moved around a lot with her father, a troubled, inspiring actor. She was having trouble finding friends amid all the moving, writing to her cousins, Sadie and Rosh. After a long, troublesome journey her father finally settled down with a new woman who absolutely hated Sydney, a reminder that her loving husband had once been married before. Sydney had tried running away a few times, but was always dragged home and beat for her traitorous ways. Her step-mother was convinced that she was acting out because Sydney hated her, and always made her do extra chores. At times, Sydney felt like Cinderella.
[Year:] 2
[Special Talents/Info:] Sydney can hear the thoughts of very troubled people.
[Favorite Class/Worst Class:] astrology/potions
Sydney has a grey cat named Sunny. Sunny loves to purr and clean herself. She also loves to get into some trouble, but always gets out of it if Syd is about to be involved.
Sydney snuck out of the Common Room quite late. She thought it was somewhere around three in the morning, but wasn’t exactly sure because she’d forgotten her watch. She looked around, sneaking into the shadows, being careful not to be spotted by a Prefect. She looked around helplessly. She spotted a Prefect and sighed, knowing he’d seen her clear as day. She felt him pull her to him and she obeyed slightly scared of the consequences. She sighed, “Yeah?” Why was she out here? She thought for a moment, going to the kitchen obviously! She sniffed and looked up at the guy, “I was going to see my sister. She’s in the Hospital Wing. I wanted to see her again.” Note? She searched her pockets for a logical note. Even though it was a year old, it wasn’t dated. She showed him the old note that had her sister’s handwriting. She watched him look it over. It was late to be going wasn’t it? She nodded, “I know. I’m sorry, but I really wanted to see her! I can’t sleep without seeing her again.”
Sydney tilted her head slightly, taking her note back, stuffing it in her pocket. She went in the general direction of the Hospital Wing. She stopped, hearing his footsteps fade out and she scurried back to the stairs, heading downward. She tiptoed down them, avoiding the squeaky step and continued on her way. She smiled to herself, another narrowly avoided catastrophe. She grinned and stepped onto the landing. She couldn’t help but ran towards the secret stairs leading down to the kitchen. Her hunger was taking over her small body. She stopped at the door, descending into the kitchen.
