Anna walked into the Leaky Cauldron, her red hair cut short for the summer. She was getting ready for finally being an auror, and she was quite excited. She leaned against the bar, straightening out her robes.
'Do you want to get something to drink?'
Anna looked at the bartender and said, "Yes, I'll have a firewhiskey, please." She watched as the bartender opened up a bottle and poured an amount into a glass. The bartender handed it to her and commented 'My you look like you're excited, yet nervous. Might I ask what exactly you're doing today?'
Anna took a small sip of her firewhiskey, put it down and said, "Well, I'm nervous because it's my first day of work, yet I'm excited because it's my first day also. I'm also excited because I'm the first person in my family to get a job in the Ministry."
The bartender smiled, saw another costumer, and said, 'I hope it all goes well for you miss. Good Luck!' Anna smiled at the bartender, dropped ten galleons on the bar counter, and said, "I left the money on the counter. Keep the change, and I hope the Leaky Cauldron has good business for many years to come."
Anna walked to a different part of the bar, and sat down, taking another sip of her firewhiskey. She looked around the bar, hoping to see someone she knew. She sighed, wishing that she had some company.

Robert entered looking around first for some one he knew. No one.. It'd been that wa for some time now, since he'd moved back to the States. He had forgottten and lost touch with all his good school buddies.. And he was left to roam the Usa alone. Though he was a slick one and a con on the ladies.. He loved them much and so he spotted a nervous one with short red hair.
She was a pretty beyond belief and he made his way to the bar where she had just left..
"Give me a tall glass of red currant rum..." Robert ordered, thinking of it as a small order.. It was one of those drinks that kept you spinning on your heels.. The Bartender nodded serving it to him in a beer glass.. "Ok.. Thanks!"
Taking his drink on he eyed the young lady, close to his age and sat down beside her, "Is this seat taken?"

Anna surveyed the guy as he sat down to her. "No. It isn't, do you know someone who would like to sit there," she joked, trying to hide how nervous she was. She tucked a loose strand of red hair behind her ear, looking in his eyes.
She looked down at the table, her cheeks turning a light pink. Anna hadn't talked to a guy in a logn time, and she didn't know if she had lost her touch.
Anna smiled at him and said, "Anna Rosalie Whipperoll. Might I ask your name?" She took a small sip of her firewhiskey, just to steady her nerves. She had alreayd been a bundle of nerves, and now this! She wasn't complaining though.
She smiled shyly at him, and realized that he was her age. "What brings you to the bar today," she asked, her eyes full of joy. Ever since she had left West Coast, life had only gotten better.

"No. It isn't, do you know someone who would like to sit there,"
Robert smiled softly. He'd never met a girl as nervous as her, from what she displayed in her eyes she looked to confident person... He noticed that she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and looked into his eyes.. He smirked slightly, but she quickly lowered her eyes so he couldn't get a very good look.
"Anna Rosalie Whipperoll. Might I ask your name?"
A formal greeting? Robert thought to himself.. This might be fun.. "Well the name Is Robert, Robert Vaughan.. Though I'm aspiring to become a pro-quidditch player.. I'm for now teaching the young kids at the Quidditch Camp the Ministry hosts every year..."
"What brings you to the bar today,"
"Well, tomorrow I leave to go to training the new recruits at the Quidditch camp..." He sighed, taking a sip of his rum.. It glided down his thoart, resting in his somach, where all kinds of different flavors peaked his intrest. "So this will be my last drink for two weeks..." He pouted loving the taste of his drink.

Anna perked up a little, and some of her nerves went away. He was an aspiring pro-quidditch player? "I love quidditch. I myself wanted a job at the camp, though my parents made me take a whole different career," she said, sighing.
She loved her parents to death, though they were a little bossy. Everything Anna did had always been controlled by her parents. When she had told them about her career aspirations, they gave her a guilt lecture, and made her become an auror.
Anna laughed as she saw him pout. "Well, I'm here to get something to calm my nerves. Today is my first day of work, and I'm a nervous wreck," she said, glancing at her wristwatch. It was only eight in the morning, and she still had about an hour until she ahd to be at the office.

"Well, my mother said the same thing, so after quidditch camp I shall be working at the ministry part time.." She seemed familiar as if he'd known her from somewhere but he couldn't put his finger on it. Taking another small sip of his rum, he savored it.
"So where do you work?" He inquired. Was she a model waiting on a photo shoot? He couldn't tell but she was pretty enough to be one.

Anna looked at him curiously. He seemed familiar somehow, though she couldn't remember where she had seen him. Taking another sip of her firewhiskey, she pushed it out of her mind.
She smiled when he asked her where she worked. "Well, I work at the Ministry. I'm an Auror, but I really don't want to be," she said, shrugging a little. It was the turth, she had never wanted to be an Auror.
